Also living with him were his wife Margaret, aged 32years, Martha aged 13 years, Joseph aged 10 years, Williamson (sic)aged 6 years and Alfred aged 3 years, together with a Margaret Parraged 58 years, shown as a servant. Found on the 1841 census, age 14.
On 27 Aug 1843 there was a Mary Parr christened at St Bridget's WestKirby. The mother Sarah, of Grange was single. Since Sarah, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth is the only known Sarah Parr in Grange at thetime and was age 17, it is likely that she is the mother. Mary died one week after birth. Sarah later could have married a Brasher.
